Trans Day of Torah 5780

Collectively, we’ll chant  the story of Joseph in our places of ritual observance. Joseph is a trans story -- a queer, transfemminine dreamer, misunderstood and cast out by family, Joseph is one who experiences  structural injustice. Ultimately their beauty and power is recognized and they are able to be seen, loved and celebrated from the highest places of respect and honor. We hope to occupy a similar place on our bimahs together this day.
